We are living a very different life indeed now and as difficult as it may be we must remain steadfast and in the hope that this too shall pass. Please follow the government guidelines to stay at home and help save lives. At Blanksons we made the difficult decision to close to the general public. However, we remain true to our mission to be of service to those who need it most. Please bear with us during this time so we protect our staff and your local business. Until we return fully, stay safe.

Community

We are closed but we have implemented a reduced working regimen to keep those who need it going. We have made it a point to go into the wider community to lend a hand. Working with Spotlight UK we have delivered food packages across Basingstoke and it is clear the need out there is great. If you can help by donating financially or food items please do.

We have also ensured that our local hub at Viables Community Centre is a call away when they need it.

NHS & Key Workers

If you fall into this category and in need of any assistance please don’t hesitate to call. We will only need your ID in order to serve you. You can also take advantage of two offers we have put on just to say thank you. Free 5kg laundry and 5 everyday items dry cleaned. Keep your spirits up, we truly appreciate you.

The Vulnerable

If you fall into this category, we will be delighted to assist. Just let us know how. We are in this together with you. We can direct you to the right place for help so please ask away.

How We Are Doing All The Above

We are taking every precaution necessary. This includes using gloves, face masks, hand sanitisers with a heightened cleaning regime. The process is also taking a bit longer because we are letting all textiles sit for a couple of days before processing. With uncertainty on the nature of the virus and its adaptability, we want to minimise risks. This is a layer we have added to ensure we have done our absolute best to keep our team safe. Please don’t wait to get desperate if you’re in the above categories. We want to help but we won’t rush the process.
